Is Dragon's Breath good for kids? Age and difficulty

A tower of ice rings is packed with sparkling stones. Each round one player is dragon dad: everyone picks a stone color, then dad lifts off the top ring and the stones tumble out. Each player keeps the stones that match their color, so you guess which color will fall and lift gently when it is your turn. Most stones wins.

What age is Dragon's Breath for?

Box says 5+

We suggest 4+ with an adult helping, 5+ on their own.

A round is pick a color tile, lift a ring of the ice column and share out the stones that fall. Lifting gently under a few finger rules is the skill, and the rulebook says an adult can help with setup. A 4 year old can play with a grown-up reminding them of the rules, and a 5 year old can play alone. Counting can be done by laying stones in rows.
